@vivify saidYou need to stop watching so many Lifetime movies.
If a divorced woman has sex with her former husband who married another woman, is the Divorcée guilty of adultery?
Or, since the Bible says that anyone who sleeps with a married woman is guilty of adultery...what if a man sleeps with his ex-wife if she has remarried?

@vivify saidJacob's wife Leah doesn't get as much attention from him as much as Rebecca; Rebecca uses Leah's longing for more of her husband to her advantage, using Leah to get things like cakes. Leah gets pregnant, upsetting Rebecca, who begs her husband to give her a child; he then gets angry, saying there's nothing he can do.
The Bible is a lifetime movie. Judas betrays someone he supposedly loves with a kiss; then gripped by regret, he tries to give back the money he betrayed Jesus for, an kills himself.
Rebecca then has Jacob sleep with Leah and takes Leah's child as her own.

@vivify saidAn entire book of the Bible called "Song of Songs".
An old man name Boaz falls for a young woman named Ruth, who shows she wants to be with him forever by falling asleep at his side.
LIFETIME
Sample verse:
Who is this coming up from the wilderness
leaning on her beloved?
Under the apple tree I roused you;
there your mother conceived you,
there she who was in labor gave you birth.
Place me like a seal over your heart,
like a seal on your arm;
for love is as strong as death,
its jealousy unyielding as the grave.
It burns like blazing fire,
like a mighty flame.
7 Many waters cannot quench love;
rivers cannot sweep it away.
I swear Lifetime gets their plots and dialogue from the Bible.

We have a little sister,
and her breasts are not yet grown.
What shall we do for our sister
on the day she is spoken for?
Come away, my beloved,
and be like a gazelle
or like a young stag
on the spice-laden mountains.

for your love is more delightful than wine.
Pleasing is the fragrance of your perfumes;
your name is like perfume poured out.
No wonder the young women love you!
Take me away with you—let us hurry!
Let me grab my tissue and low-fat yogurt.
@rajk999 saidYup.
I can tell you some others [more gruesome ones] but I think you have it covered.
David discovers a sultry nude woman taking a bath. Overcome with lust, he must have her for himself, and after having sex with her plots to kill her husband through deception.
I need a warm blanket and ice-cream for this one.
@vivify saidAnd he was referred to a man after Gods own heart. The bible has some really disturbing stories
Yup.

Rebecca was the wife of Isaac. They were parents of Jacob.
Jacob had two wives, Leah and her sister, Rachel. Since Rachel seemed to be having a hard time bearing children, she gave her servant, Bilhah to Jacob as concubine for sex and hopefully better luck at conception... Sister Leah, who already had a passel of children, upped the ante giving her servant Zilpah to Jacob to produce even more children...
Now, there’s a Lifetime movie.

Is your point that if you had written the books of the bible you would have excluded such stories?
Is your point that Song of Songs ( a poetic book about romantic passion) should not have been included the Holy Bible, nor the story of Jacob's wives, David's lust, or other things candidly exposing many of these people were typical humans?
