You are right. Atheists don't have any strong points.

hehe. cognitive dissonance. their strong points are unassailable by theists. and actually, "logic" which this charlatan dismisses as a "weak" point is actually a strong point. he just dismisses it because he can't fight logic with his theism.

If atheists used logic in their thinking they should realize that it is
illogical to believe there is no God.

The meaning of illogical is "not" logical.

*sigh* he was agreeing with you , not correcting you.

but neither one of you understands logic, so it's kind of amusing seeing you fall over each other like that.

Yes, I see now. I looked at it too quick. I should have noticed
the absence of a question mark.

If I were an avowed athesist I wouldn't have the least interest in posting to this 'Spirituality Forum' and playing king of the mountain in attempting to put down believers in Christ who have bought into silly absolutes. Let the weak minded have their security blankets. Let them place their confidence in the bel ter in some worthwhile vocational and/or avocational endeavor. Your point of view?

I have to say, even though I'm a person of faith, I think you are being a little unfair. It is simply human nature to try and convince others to our way of thinking, no matter what it may entail. It may be triggored by the comfort that we are part of a larger majority the more people we can convince. It may be we are trying to convince ourselves of something we are not 100% sure of ourselves. Maybe we just wnat to help others "see the light". Whatever the mechnism, we all seem to do it.
