You seem to be getting desperate to find a reason that God must not
exist to use such a flimsy reason.

Hey flabs, nice to see you gracing the crazies forum with your wisdom for a change! GF getting a bit stale or you just attracted by the idea of debate with the ever-increasingly irrational characters hereabouts?

One of the reasons man is bold in his sins is because the judgment of God is not carried out swiftly.

The patience and longsuffering of God can go to our benefit, giving us more time. But it also can be our undoing, giving a false impression that there will never be any accounting.

Ecclesiastes 8:11 - "Because the sentence against an evil deed is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the children of men is fully set within them to do evil."

Zephaniah 1:12 - "And at that time I will search through Jerusalem with lamps, And I will punish the men who have settled on their lees, Who say in their heart, Jehovah will not do good, Nor will He do evil."

Settling on the lees has to do with the more solid contents of wine settling down at the bottom of the bottle. The word picture means resting on one's laurels or being complacent with one's traditions of long past successes.

It is good that you explained that for I am sure he would not have a clue.

Blah blah blah. If you had anything more than words written in a plagiarized book 2000 years old you would be dangerous.

or maybe it's because it's not carried out at all.

Or maybe it's because all the things carried out are not recognizable to you (albeit willfully or not... but that's a different subject).

I am happy to quote the Bible to you because I know the word of God will not return to Him void. It will accomplish either the softening of your heart or the hardening of your heart.

If it softens your heart, one day it will open you up to be saved. Perhaps this will be years from now.

If it hardens your heart more it only means that when you are lost you will be very hardened and lost.

Have you seen a little blade of green plant break through the sidewalk of concrete ? So the word of God, after many years, can break open even your skeptical and rationalizing heart.

As it stands the word of God will not return to Him void. Either way, it will accomplish something for His purpose.

The judgment of God cannot fail to be carried out.

If it was carried out on the cross of Jesus at Calvary for sinners, you can be sure that at the last Judgement it will be carried out for those whose names are not written in the book of life.

It is better to believe and accept that you were judged by God in the death of Jesus on His cross.

Plagiarized?

The bible, in its 2 Covenants combined, represents an entirely unique record of events and subsequent systematic theology.

Oh yes, we've all heard of the assorted Pagan religions with their similarities here and there.

But please... present your case and prove that the Christian bible is plagiarized. I'm all ears.

This is one of the mechanisims employed by the sinner to avoid his conscience coming under the conviction of the Holy Spirit. That is to rationalize and convince oneself that the Son of God is not unique.

The word of God, they reason, was all copied from benigh and harmless myths.

It is an elaborate rehash of the evil serpent's old ploy "Yea, Hath God said ...?".
