Intelligility demands...

Intelligibility demands an intelligent first cause. Fairness demands a just first cause. Love demands a first cause with the capacity for both personal and virtue love.

Please excercise your right to agree or to poke holes if you must.

So you believe that your love for your loved ones must have been caused? Is any of it yours? Must it just be triggered, or is it entirely the product of some other entities love?

No backup explanation as usual.

It is the product of God's love. The Holy Bible tells us so. 😏

But who caused these attributes to appear in the 'first' cause? 😵

First cause is by definition inscrutably without beginning. "In the beginning which wasn't a beginning I was.... always existed.

I still think we are looking at this backward or upside down or whatever.
Intelligence is not built on physicality, but the other way around. Just because we have amnesia doesn't make it untrue.

No holes, only a realization.

GB: "Intelligibility demands... Fairness demands... Love demands..."

Aha! None of them places a demand; they are only given freely.

So GB's post is a sort of koan. You can only be your own first cause of these things, in your life. Don't look outward for them.

IMO everything has a beginning. I don't think it's possible for anything, or anyone, to always exist.

To say otherwise sounds like pure nonsense - "beginning which wasn't a beginning" ????

Pure human viewpoint, attendant with all of its limitations. Ever occur to you that the creator (of anything) is vastly superior to the creature or thing?

Should we assume there's an insightful question hidden somewhere within your reply? If not, is it possible you're reeling from the hard fist of reality?

"Damien The Deviser" with his magic pot and a faithful sidekick called Solomon

Next question please 😏
