So big that for some, the only possible explanation is a creator god.

As it is so big, I'm not convinced that one god would be enough. Surely it would take 2 or 3, or possibly 20 or 50 or 1,000! Maybe the Universe is so complex that there are gods everywhere!

Why shouldn't this be true? Thoughts?

    Quran 21-Al Anbeyaa
"[22] Had there been therein (in the heavens and the earth) âlihah (gods) besides Allâh, then verily both would have been ruined. Glorified is Allâh, the Lord of the Throne, (High is He) above all that (evil) they associate with Him! "

I don't agree that common sense tells you that there must be more than one god. Unless one thinks that thunder is the result of God fighting Satan, of course.

The religious writings of the polytheistic religions (Egyptian, Greek, Roman, Sumerian, Hindu, etc.) all have great calamities and effects on man-kind due to the bickering of the gods. We don't seem to deal with this currently.

So the only possibilities for common sense would be one god or no god.

I believe faith is a gift from God, so it isn't something you can
generate on your own. Since I believe God wants to be found by us
desire to seek Him those that seek Him will find Him, and that would
include you too. The door is open now, it just will not always be open.

In order to seek something, don't you first have to believe that it even exists? Otherwise, how would you know when you found it?

    Also...

Why is God always being portrayed as some passive tot waiting for people to find Him?
