a very large portion of the college of cardinals are homosexuals.

this is the "gay lobby" that the pope admitted to in his first year in office.

the catholic church has not been the "church of christ" since 200 a.d.

there has been no "true pope" since peter.

the line was broken by political popes, by a woman, by popes with concubines and by homosexual popes.

there is no true line of "popes". not since peter was crucified.

Modern law is based on the precepts put forth in God's word.
God loves us and does not force us to live by them.
They are there for our good.
i.e. We should not murder.
It's obvious that murder is not a benefical act for the person who is murdered nor for the murderer.
Or do you have a better principle to live by?

As far as homosexuality goes, if you know any, would you chose that lifestyle?

No, I wouldn't. That is one reason I think anyone who claims that homosexuality is a matter of choice is not thinking it through.
