-Removed-You are right. My rating in USCF is only 1817. This rating here is due to
the fact that I use the analyse board to move the pieces around to
see what might happen before I actually make a move on the real
board. You might want to try it. It works.
P.S. Also I recommend getting a notebook so after You have determined a
plan of moves for a game, you can write the moves down so you want
forget what you have already calculated. I played a game here in which
I had figured out how to win a Knight for a pawn but my opponent took
the whole three days before he moved and I forgot what I had calculated.
I had thought I had remembered what I was going to do and moved
immediately and then after my move I realized I had captured with the
wrong pawn and I had to fight hard to get a draw.

now. I will probably be lucky to get a draw like I did with King and Pawn.
He is way to good for me. But after losing to him with the black pieces,
I managed to get in a position as white that, although I was a pawn down,
looked drawish and I asked for a draw in the hopes he would except for
fear I would make a mistake and to my surprise he accepted.

in that subject, besides I have had to take my wife for cancer radiation
treatment every weekday and I've had a big debate going on with the JWs,
with no result l might add. I guess that is over now for they claim I have
a warped mind or some such problem that has effected my reasoning
ability.
