I'm so excited, I had to say it again!

I'm with Jesus now, I just took him on as my personal savior.

Holy P-
Congrats Phla!!

Lets see here...ok now you must behave like an unmitigated pest and continually attempt to "save" people that are clearly not responding to your techniques. Rather than change those techniques you will simply use them more often. You will scour the internet for anecdotal "evidence" that proves the existence of not only God and Jesus but also that in spite of what the old testament says God is not an a**hole.

Also, according to the third post in this very thread it seems you need to set yourself on fire.

I guess I don't know what else to say, other than welcome to the family, I hope you like crap! 😉

To paraphrase Lucifershammer:

Because you are either invincibly ignorant, deliberately ignorant or knowingly untruthful
about many of the things you proclaim.

RBHILL's statement was a perfectly true one that all Christains beleive in (or, at least, should beleive in). thefore, you should change your post to "Christains" not "evangelical fundamentalists".

Although i often wonder what the point is of 'being evangelical' on an internet forum is. i mean, it's completly different from real life. in real life if someone's just taking the piss you just walk away, but here you can't. plus, are there any non-christains on this forum genuinely interested in the topic? they're most likely the minority...*shrugs*

Funny, I'm an evangelical fundamentalist and I'd say that about everyone who wasn't. 🙂

Right 'Jesus Freaks' see if you can rebut ANY of the points on this site. This is just a minor portion of what this book has to offer, it's a good read. Suggested to all:-

I, personally, am an atheist.

Jesus told his followers to tell others about Him

He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation.
Mark 16:14-16

Can you point to the bit where He told us to keep it to ourselves?

not read all of them, but i skimmed over the one about sexual misery,

"Indulging in such things can and will, in the conventional Christian view, lead straight to hell." wrong. ask for forgiveness!

and that whole bit is just someone's opinion. they say that you cannot have a good sex life if you've only ever had sex with one person, and even if you have a good sex life with that one person (which is unlikely) you shall not be happy. you shall be unfaithful to yourself. personally i think that is a complete bunch of doggy doo-doo's. i know amazingly happy couple's who have never had sex, i'm a virgin and not in the slightest looking to loose it and i'm more than happy. it's just one person's opinion. "see sharp press"? "see my way press" more like...

EDIT: the Bible is not a reliable guide to christs teachings"

well, the dead sea scrolls, once translated, showed a lot of the modern bible to be almost unchanged from parts (that is, the parts that were found in the caves) used thousands of years ago. also, if God does exist (which i beleive he does) i doubt he would let his teachings be lost...

If there is a god, its a whole lot bigger and more profound than this silly Christ story.
