The Bible is a doctrine made by the meat eaters for the meat eaters.
Anyone who is serious for their spiritual life, will embrace the Vedic teachings, which are the only teachings for understanding God without error.
Why do most religionists hold so tightly to their dogma, even with all the clearly detectable error....because most are actually covered atheists, who have been convinced that they have a free ticket to heaven, without actually raising their consciousness to the spiritual platform.
This type of religion that does not raise the consciousness to the transcendental platform....is a cheating religion, and there are thousands (Islam, Christianity, Judaism are the main offenders)
Look at the Pope.....who suppose to be the spiritual leader of millions of people.......and does not even know the first thing about the eternality of the soul, or that God consciousness means respecting all of life, even the lower forms of life.....the animals.
The greatest error of Christianity is.....that they have turned a man into God.
The second greatest error is that they believe that the soul enters the body at the time of birth and not before.
Third greatest error is that they believe that everyone has only one life......and cannot take another birth.
Fourth greatest error is .....that they believe that animals do not have souls, and that they can be slaughtered without conscience.
Fifth greatest error is that they believe that non Christians will suffer in hell for eternity.
And there are one hundred more.....
Why do fanatical Christians, not see the error that their Bible teaches......when everyone else can?

That is because Jesus said few will enter into eternal life.
Of course the Bible is going to say many things that will prop up it,s illegitimacy.
The first thing the writers do when compiling the Bible, is fabricate many verse,s to to attempt to make it legal.
But what remains is the hundreds of errors, that truthful persons reject.
What do you have left when you eradicate all the error in the Bible.........not much at all.
