(John 1:1) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was a god.
Many people believe that the lower case god (theos-GR.) in this Scripture makes Jesus a part of the trinity.
Then would (2 Corinthians 4:4) among whom the god of this system of things.....which uses the same lower case god (theos-GR.) to refer to Satan.....make Satan a part of the trinity also?

I know this Scripture has been discussed in this forum before.

Evenso, I feel certain no one has noticed this point before.

It might help if you used a real Bible instead of the book your church commissioned to back up the made-up dogma you already had in place.

Sorry, I used the Greek Interlinear Bible.

If you do your homework instead of just assuming things,

you will benefit more.

Again, the fact that no one replies proves that these Bible points cannot be refuted.

Isn't it time for all or us to start learning the depth of God's wisdom found n the Bible?

go to JW.org

check it out, it's free.

45 seconds taking too long for you to get replies? That's funny.

BTW, it proves nothing.

Why would I refute the Bible, why would I want to?

I would hope you never do.
(John 17:3) This means everlasting life, their coming to know you, the only true God, and the one whom you sent, Jesus Christ.

NWT is the only version that says 'a god', a JW translation.

Sorry, there are at least 7 others original translations
that say "the Word was a god" or
"the Word was divine" or
"the Logos was a god"
We got that translation from other Bibles, just not the antiquated KJV that still believes in unicorns.
Look it up.
Anyway enough for tonight. Bon Soir

Do you recognize people who believe it should be "the Word was God" [and not "the Word was a god"] as your fellow Christians?

Blah, blah blah blah blah.

Yeap, what are you going to do when a person chooses a heritical translation? Let him and let him enjoy his time in the next life. At least he won't be cold.
