a wooden floor? natural wood? remember the wooden floors you used to get in old school gymnasiums? they were all beautiful hardwood floors, so beautifully put together.

yeah I have laid loads of wooden floors, sprung gymnasium , school hall herringbone, parquet flooring , lately they have stopped looking after wood floors properly I used to spend the 6 weeks holiday sanding and polishing school floors.
