Dear God, hope you got the letter, and...
I pray you can make it better down here.
I don't mean a big reduction in the price of beer
But all the people that you made in your image, see
Them starving on their feet 'cause they don't get
Enough to eat from God, I can't believe in you...

Dear rwingett,

That's why I've put you down there. What are you doing to feed your sisters and brothers?

Capitalism still exists, so I must not be doing nearly enough. Maybe posting on two additional sites will be enough to pull down its rotting edifice. I'll have to test it out. Eventually.

I have not yet seen it - but will once I can find it.

Have you seen the movie No Greater Love? I personally think that was an awesome movie too. Christian movies are slowly getting better movie by movie. I like it. It's much better than the latest hollywood crap.

Yes, that was an excellent movie and I agree, they have gotten much better and is better than a lot of the crap they have been putting out.

Fireproof is an excellent B movie, much better than 4/5s ever created.

What I find was so amazing with the movie "The Passion of the Christ" was how brutally disgusting they showed Christ be lashed, which was of no where near what they portrayed of it, way groser they did, "but", the IMPACT it could have for some little child.

As I believe all children that play their DISGUSTING violent video games, how gruesome they get, should see a man that DESERVED NOT A smidgen of a mark on him lashed worse than those video virtuosos...

If that Mel Gibson portrayal was even half accurate, (which Mel usually is), there is no way any man could've lived through those lashings without dying. Let alone carry a huge cross up a big hill after that. No way! He must be the Son of God to go throught that. Which begs the question: If JC was so tough, how are we supposed to identify with a super-human like that? I prefer the bhudda who says that all you need to be is yourself, that we all have inherent bhudda nature. No tough guys necessary.

Tough is not the word, it was his ~state of mind~ his KNOWING what actually was the case, that he was NOT what is considered flesh, rather IS of "SPIRIT", and that image and likeness needeth not a thing, nor could be harmed, it was a wrestled ~claiming other than this~ that he overcame, as even in the movie after you think it's all over he get's right back up to take some more!

This is why he said on the Mount of Olives "Father, let this cup pass before me. But not my will, but thine be done."
