We saw the 3D version. Best use of 3D I have seen.
Recommended for the spiritually minded (book or movie).
I won't try to hammer home the spiritual points I saw in this movie.
See what you find. Or what you prefer to see.
Also the movie is a visual and aural treat. And, after a leisurely start, lots of action!

It did get a bit science fictiony with the living island and all.
Great book I thought. Wife in hospital so can't see the movie for a while. Hope it still is out when we can go.
