hi..how come it's always about light ? That's all you hear...I saw the white light, I felt a light, I followed the light, etc, etc, etc.

Not an exact quote, I believe CS Lewis, said I believe in God like I do the sun because by it I see everything else.

When you are walking in the darkness only with light can you see.

We see what we expect to see.

We see what we expect to see.

That applies to you also then ?
You see what you expect to see and tell us all about it ?

I've not had a near-death experience, nor a vision of any strange lights, but of course I have the same sorts of biases that most people have, e.g. confirmation bias, false pattern recognition, etc.

I would say that I put more effort into correcting for my own biases than most people, but that could be just another bias talking. πŸ™‚

The dark is not the truth.

Our language is full of visual metaphors for understanding. See? It’s just a coincidence, a pun, not intrinsically significant.

Let those with ears hear.

Personally, I want to come into contact with the truth, feel it, find out its texture and consistency, not only ‘see’ it.
