@Ghost-of-a-Duke saidTo be honest you really have to be among the world's dumbest people to follow after these cults.
Charles Russell wrote six books (Scripture Studies) and boldly declared that it would be better to leave the Scriptures unread and read his books, rather than to read the Scriptures and neglect his books. In The Watch Tower, September 15, 1910, p. 298 he wrote:
“If the six volumes of Scripture Studies are practically the Bible, topically arranged with Bible proof t ...[text shortened]... e would be in the light at the end of two years, because he would have the light of the Scriptures.”
@Rajk999 saidA chap arrives at the gates of heaven. St. Peter asks, "Religion?"
Well he is not responding because it is public knowledge [if you read their website], that it is only JWs who will survive Armageddon and enter the earthly Kingdom. All other people are destroyed.
The man says, "Methodist"
St. Peter looks down his list, and says, "Go to room twenty-eight, but be very quiet as you pass room eight."
Another man arrives at the gates of heaven. "Religion?"
"Baptist"
"Go to room eighteen, but be very quiet as you pass room eight."
A third man arrives at the gates. "Religion?"
"Jewish"
"Go to room eleven, but be very quiet as you pass room eight."
The man replies, "I can understand there being different rooms for different religions, but why must I be quiet when I pass room eight?"
St Peter replies, "The Jehovah's Witnesses are in room eight, and they think they're the only ones here."
@Ghost-of-a-Duke saidGood one. Maybe it also has a lesson for us there... that we should leave the JWs in their delusion that they are the only ones.

@Rajk999 saidIt is kind of funny; however, many Christian sects think that they are the only ones making it. They at least think that if you're not one of them, that your salvation is a crap shoot at best; so to speak. From my personal experience.

@KingDavid403 saidNothing new under the sun, it is the same problem the Scribes and Pharisees had they created their own rules on righteousness and those rules allow for less and less in except them. If you are not trusting in the work of Jesus Christ alone, you will set up your own or join someone else's if you care about such things.

@KingDavid403 saidYeah .. its a common delusion among many Christian sects.

-Removed-Just in my area we have JWs, SDAs, Mormons. Catholics. Presbyterians are more tolerant. Seventh Day Adventists believe the rest of the world worships on the wrong day and dont believe in the Sabbath, and that is damnation for them. Catholics believe they are the only true religion started by Peter through Jesus Christ.
@Rajk999 saidGod doesn't exist of course, but if He/She did, and did actually want to save all humankind, then I suspect they would make themselves equally (rather than geographically) accessible to everybody. That being the case, all sects, indeed all religions, would lead to God. (Like varying paths up a mountain).
Yeah .. its a common delusion among many Christian sects.
