Today is one year since I last drank, but I am now drinking.

Does God love me less?
Have I failed God?
No.

You have only failed yourself.

God failed himself, he is sprawled out in an armchair in some old peoples home in the sky ( alzheimers ward) wondering who he is and where did it all go wrong.

-Removed-
God's love for us had the Father send the Son, God's love for us had the Son give
His life for us, God's love for us has the Holy Spirit entering into our lives causing
us to be born again. God's Justice, Goodness, and Holiness required all of the above
so that our sins would righteously be taken care of. Without Jesus, we die in our
sins and we will encounter a Just, Good, and Holy God in our sins.

You hide this from those you love putting them in danger of the fire of Hell, all
because you refuse to read scripture and accept what it says.

Doesn't the moral relativism you subscribe to allow everyone to do as they please as long as they don't break any laws?

Budweiser.
You fell off the wagon for a Budweiser? For cryin' out loud, at least drink something worth drinking.

8 thumbs down?
Why?

Probably the dramatic self-pity. (Speaking honestly).

Whether you decide to drink or not has nothing to do with God. It was 'You' who managed to go a year without drinking and 'you' who bizarrely chose to celebrate that achievement,...with a drink. and then to update the forum about it.

Look, you are not the first person to celebrate a year of abstaining from something by indulging in the very thing you've been abstaining from. I advise you to put it down to a blip and go back to abstaining. If however, you decide to keep on drinking (again, nothing to do with God) then please do us all a favor and stay away from your keyboard. We know where that takes us.

I would recommend an "Old Rasputin" Russian Imperial Stout, by North Coast Brewing. Go your way and do not sin again.

Or better still, Glasgow's 'Nix Zero Premium Wheat Beer.'(It's alcohol-free).

AA believes that God takes an active role in your life, but only when your choice is to stop drinking.
