If there is a creator entity ["God" as you call it], and if the nature of that entity can one day be better understood or known, then I think perhaps science will bring this about. In the meantime, believe anything you want, evidence, no evidence, science, some science, no science etc. just believe whatever your gut tells you.

Funny thing is, I was about to put, 'we don't know if there is life on other planets', but if someone has been visited by aliens, then at least one of us knows for sure. They just have trouble convincing anyone else, without sounding like a crackpot. 😁
