@kellyjay saidI tend to agree, though there are some cases where people are making their best judgment and it happens to be wrong, and other cases where they are willfully denying evidence they just don't want to hear.
People do that with everything shaping the universe as they like. Even if it is a lie!
Maybe the lesson is to remain humble in the face of the great many things we still don't know about the universe.
