nope, i will tell you what i have told Doward and RJhinds,

(2 Timothy 2:23-24) . . .Further, turn down foolish and ignorant questionings,
knowing they produce fights
.  But a slave of the Lord does not need to fight. . .

there was a scriptural verse provided, you may make reference to that.

It is interesting to me that when Jesus encountered Satan, he does not refer to him as the "enemy", does not ridicule him, does not make personal attacks....they have quite a civil discussion, in fact.

Its interesting that Christ quotes from a number of texts to counter act his wiles, time and again he states, 'it is written. . . .' The best example is in Job, where God even tries to reason with him.

Even if the story is not a direct, word-for-word accounting, the manner that both approach the encounter and how they deal with each other is quite fascinating.

Oh, good lord. This is what happens when the uneducated pick and choose some selected verses to fit into their viewpoint, instead of using the story to illuminate their understanding of how to behave as Jesus teaches.

It's rather like taking a word from a sentence and trying to extract what concept the sentence conveys from a single word.

Care to take ...[text shortened]... hand, you could continue to rape Bible verses to fit your preconceived ideas of Christianity.
Lol....He has no clue and yet he says he knows more then anyone here.

It would take a sermon to explain the point in all of Chapter 5 of John
and I am not a preacher. But I will give you a brief summary.

Chapter 5 reveals the third sign that Jesus is the Christ and the Son of
God by healing the sick man, who was unable to walk, on the Sabbath day.
Jesus told the man to pick up his pallet and walk. Upon seeing this the
Jews became angry that the man was carrying his pallet on the Sabbath
day which they said was unlawful to do. The man told them that it was
Jesus that had healed him and told him to do that work on the Sabbath.
When the Jews confronted Jesus with this, He defended His actions by
claiming equality with God the Father, Who had sent Him to do good works.
Then the Jews were seeking to kill Him for blasphemy. Jesus had claimed
that Moses had written of Him and the scriptures bear witness of Him.

So the main point is that Jesus performed this miracle as a sign to
demonstrate that He was the promised Messiah mentioned of by Moses
and the rest of the scriptures and that He is equal with God.

Kirkintilloch, kirk being the old Scottish word for church. i dont believe your drivel
about atheists either, in fact, i have had many a more reasonable conversation with an
atheist than i do with so called Christians. The question of course was a personal one, ...[text shortened]... you, how are you personally gathering persons towards the Christ? or do
you prefer to scatter?
I tell the truth about Jesus (Yahshua) the Son of God.
I even tell when He was born in the flesh and when He died on the cross.

It's obvious your idea of a "son" is different then what you word really means especially in the Bible. No where can I find that "son" means the same being.

Your first reference definition give the following:

capitalized: the second person of the Trinity

I agree with that.

Your last reference is for "Patronymic" not "Son".

When an executioner is about to pull the lever on a condemned criminal in the electric chair, there also may be a civil exchange. The officials may ask such a person for any final words. The one to die may not be spoken to out of anger or disrespectfully. The condemned person may not be refered to as an "enemy".

The final exchange may be quite civil.
