Did god speak directly to you? If so, could you arrange for him to speak directly to me, or at least let me see him speak directly to you? You have no proof! How old did god say the earth is? (You have avoided the question).

God's word is written in the Holy Bible. God speaks to whomever He
wants in various ways. I have no authority to tell God to do anything.
As the Holy Bible says, the proof is right in front of your eyes, but
you refuse to understand what you see. God has not said how old the
earth is. We don't need to know. Why is it so important to you?

Read the first chapter of Genesis in the Holy Bible.
God made the differnt Kinds of animals and plants
and made sure the seeds coming from a kind would
be restricted to produce the same kind that they came
from. Exactly how God created the different kinds of
animals and plants, we don't know. But we do know
the seeds of reproduction do exactly as stated. We
have proof of that. It is right there in any biology text
book.
I know what Genesis says thanks. How do these restrictions work, on a biological level?

Please, don't just say 'God created everything according to their kinds'. I'm after something a little more detailed. If you can that is.

What is your proof that the bible is correct?

Although you are arrogant enough to assume that what you believe to be the truth is, in fact, the truth, and what everybody else believes is in error...

i thought that i stated this already, maybe it was simply in my mind, or i dreamt it,
anyhow, whether the finches adapted or were designed, i have not yet resolved, for as
a creationist i cannot rule out the possibility of design, then again, adaptation happens
, so the matter is unresolved. Please do not take this as some kind of evasion, its not,
the matter really is unresolved and will take deeper thought to be clear. As a putty cat,
i find your interest in finches not a little, macabre!

As far as I know, the Holy Bible does not explain how
these restrictions work, only that it does. Maybe a biologist
will study this and figure out how it works someday. But
I don't worry about it. It is enough for me to know that it
does.

I thought you'd already agreed that accepted adaptation among Galapagos finches, but anyway that's not what I'm after. I'm curious to know if you think that lions and tigers are adaptations on the feline pattern, or if you think that they're separate species divinely designed.

Exactly, which proves the bible has false statements in it.

Here are 2 places where the bible gives statements that are false:

1) In the gospels, the Lineage of Jesus is given in 2 places and they disagree with each other. At the minimum, one is wrong.(They are more likely both wrong).

2) In the gospels at the time of Jesus's death, it says Jesus will return for judgment day in the life time of some of the people then alive. That was about 2000 years ago and is clearly false.

There are many other errors that are easy to document. Clergy never dwell on these issues.
