We have to walk with God. We have to take Enoch as our example. You know that Enoch walked with God.

One night after many years of walking with God everyday, Enoch was again walking with God. God said, "Listen Enoch. Its late and you're closer to my house than to your own. Why not just come home with me tonight?"

If you want to be ready for the rapture, you and I should walk with God daily. Log more time with Him. And make more steps with Him.

Then perhaps even in our lifetime, we will simply go physically where our heart and spirit have been each day. That will be the rapture.

Are you a Christian who knows and loves the Lord Jesus ?

If you are regenerated and born of God you may kind of practice daily for that moment of rapture turning yoour heart instantly to Him many times a day and night.[/b]
"If you are regenrated and born of God..."

Aren't we all "born of God"? Or not? Could you clarify?(anyone?)

Let me make this perfectly clear karoly. To be "born of God" or "regenerated" one must come to God on His terms.

Do you understand what that means?

You MUST come to God on His terms.

I can't over emphasize this point enough.

Yeah but is everyone born the same? With the same propensity to "know" God?

I will help you to find out on your own.
Do you have a New Testament ?

Look up First John chapter 5 verse 1.

Who there are the ones John says have been begotten of God?

Look at the same chapter verse 12.

See if you can discern who John says has the life and who he says does not have the life.

Look now again at the Gospel of John chapter 1 verses 11 - 13. See if you can understand who John says has been given authority to become children of God.

You have three passages there to help you get clear First John 5:1; First John 5:12; John 1:11-13.

There may be some things which you do not understand in those verses. But I think you should get your clarification about being born of God there.

Pay attention to how wide the scope of inclusion is in each of these passages. Ask yourself "Is the scope without limit? Is the scope universal or are there some paramaters around who receives these matters?"

    Yes.

God does not have favorites. If that's what you mean.

Do you understand what I mean by "coming to God on His terms"?

Ripture, rapture, rupture. Whatever. Dear Jaywill, If the rapture comes to you, to whom will you leave your belongings? (This is a hypothetical question). All kidding aside, I wish you the best in 2010. Joe, your theological arch nemisis.

I don't know. either. Are you talking about coming to God on his terms, on his terms from the perspective of a long dead ancient culture, on his terms as you see his terms (which is to say, based on the Bible as viewed only through your lenses)?

What about the other religions that your God also created?

    Blither, blather, blubbering gibberish.

God doesn't change. Cultures change. Man changes. But God is the one constant.

Unfortunately, based on your particular perspective, only you are qualified to determine what is true or not. It is obviously beyond your mental capacity to acknowledge God's truth.

You don't even know what I'm talking about.
