Read the parable of the Good Samaritan.
Four characters.
One in need, One with no God [or so thought the Jews],
One a leader of the church. One a chosen priestly line of the Jews.
Only one of them showed love, a critical element of eternal life

If your heart is with Christ you would have no problem understanding.
I suspect judging from all your doubting questions your heart is far away.

I asked you a simple yes or no question. Is your answer yes or no?

Your heart is hardened against the teachings of Christ just like the other church Christians who boast of their salvation and then deny the very same Christ who they proclaim with their mouth that they accept. You have not accepted Christ because you have denied Christ' s teachings and commandments.

Sonship stated that only Jesus can follow his commandments. This is what the churches are preaching. ie not to bother following Christ.

Wow how on earth did you make that conclusion? I believe we can only truly follow His commands if His Spirit lives in us. Your dodge to my question is noted.

What conclusion did I make?

If someone follows the commandments of Christ
THEN that is proof that the Spirit of Christ lives in them
I would agree with that.

However Christians state it backwards.
They a have the Spirit of Christ and then they follow the commandments.

Jesus said no such thing.

You can note whatever you like. Im not here to answer all your stupid questions over and over.

Unless we die to self we cannot be filled with the Spirit of Christ, you seem to be saying that the natural man (i.e an atheist) is capable of following the teachings of Christ without being filled with the Spirit of Christ. I disagree with that.

Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to us because He said that we need "him".

I will search for the verses, but Jesus made a very big deal about needing the Holy Spirit.

Quote the verse and you will be surprised at what it says.
When you find the verse you will see that the Confortor is supposed to
REMIND THE FOLLOWERS OF HIS COMMANDMENTS.

Remind them to follow the commandments.

What is your point now?

You follow the doctrine of Christ according to Rajk. Do you think you have a better grasp of the gospel than the apostles do?

Your understanding of the doctrine of Christ and the Apostles is very shallow.

Jesus cleanses people from their sins.
Those who profess faith get Christ's Spirit
The Spirit of Christ is is words and his teachings
Those who follow Christ teachings live in righteousness
They will inherit the Kingdom of God
Some do not follow Christ and they will inher ...[text shortened]... ood works, because you THINK you have the Spirit of Christ is just plain nonsense and unbiblical
The Spirit of Christ is the Spirit of Christ, it isn't His Words and Teachings! Stop changing
the meanings of words to suit your doctrine. Jesus is the Word of God made flesh, the
Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God. When Jesus was baptized, the Father spoke from Heaven
and the Holy Spirit descended like a dove to rest upon Him. You are again confused due
the fact you have to change meanings of words to suit your doctrine, instead of allowing
the Word to change you.

All who are without Christ's will be judged by their works, and they will be condemn, they
are condemned already, because they do not believe in Jesus and are putting their faith
into Him for His grace and mercy therefore they do not have the Holy Spirit within them
teaching them, showing them the will of God to do the works God has for them.

Matthew 3: 16-17
16 And when Jesus was baptized, immediately he went up from the water, and behold, the heavens were opened to him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and coming to rest on him; 17 and behold, a voice from heaven said, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.”

Jesus said

.. the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. (John 6:63 KJV)

The words of Jesus is spirit and life. .. these words and commandments give eternal life

.. if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. [Matthew 19:17 KJV)

Christians who claim to have Gods Spirit or Spirit of Christ, and continue to sin are deluding themselves.

Note how I write
- I quote clear scripture.
- I include the Bible version
- I give no personal opinion or church doctrine

Actually, I just read a little from John, and Jesus said we can do greater things than He did.

Not sure how to take that.

John 14:12
