Is it false that you are going to present your experiences of God...or did I just dream that promise?

Not false, I already have started the post. I even have the time to do it today for a change. So before long you'll get it.

I can't wait!

Sounds like it will be as detailed a scientific paper.

Not hardly, and I'm afraid I didn't get to it today either.
I hope to give it some time tomorrow.

That's why science uses a degree of certainty standard, which gets science as close to truth as possible.

As close to truth without ever getting you there 🙂 since as I understand it, science cannot ever tell us what is true – only what is likely true right?

I bet we never wrap our hands around anything and say! Ah ha... I've got it... it's a truth bug! I can poke it and prod it and now, I understand it...

I wonder if that's the why the whole faith thing is so important in the Christian faith... (at the same time, foolishness to the wise men)...

I've never thought about that... I think I like forums so far  and how funny on my favorite chess site 😉

What is truth? Can anything tell you truth? Do your eyes really see what is there? How do you know the universe is really real? All science can do is say "if the universe does indeed exist, this is most most likely and coherent explanation for phenomena x".

I understand that, and completely believe it is the best way we have
to study the universe around us too with our limited abilities.

Still waiting, Kelly.

But you know; tomorrow never comes!

You'll wait till I write it and post it, please keep on me if you want!
I'm simply writing what drew me to make my choice to serve God
through Jesus Christ, from where I started till I accepted Him.

We don't want your life history from the cradle - just give us your experiences of God.
If you have not experienced God, then just admit it.

Just write it, rather than wasting time talking about writing it!

Science is not nor tries to be a search for 'truth', as the word itself is rather hard to define. However A large part of science is a study of patterns which can lead to accurate predictions. Newtons laws are nothing but a description of an observed pattern and although they are neither 'true' nor totally accurate, they are still extremely usefull in predicting. Is it 'true' that if you drop an object it will fall? It is cirtainly predicted by science and therefore extremely likely and most people would bet thier life on it.
