Tired of all the needlers I think.

I doubt it.

He doesn't have any indicator on his profile, unlike [say] dasa.
And as much as his posts were often infuriating and he often used silly petty insults,
unlike dasa he seldom posted anything that might trouble the mods of this site.
Also, looking at his last few posts, I don't see any sign of anything out of the ordinary.

This leads me to suspect that it's more likely to be some real life issue that has caused
the sudden stop in posting.

Obviously I don't know if that is true, or what that issue might be...

However given that very real possibility, and in that knowledge vacuum, I would advise against
speculating.

There are people with which we debate here, who will one day pass away without notice and unknowing to anyone... as GF suggested.
