So you don't have a clue as to the real motivation of such a deity. The most likely story is man made up the entire edifice and therefore your god has human characteristics like Jealousy, vengeance and so forth. A real deity would be so far above humanity there would be no such human traits with a deity. It's all simply man made which is why there are religions at each other's throats. No god needed for wars.
