I think "don't know" is an honest reply. Something
most (all?) theists should aspire to.

Seriously I harbor no pretensions of wanting to impress anyone.

So what have we got now... spiritual shipwreck ... marooned ...an empty void ... vacuous ... vague ... empty ... lamentable ... marooned (again) ... angrily fist waving ... marooned (third time) ... pebble monolith (third or fourth time?] ... plastic and transparent ... false ... plastic and transparent (again) ... like a polythene bag ... empty beach (three times? Four?)

dont know? even if someone knew zilch about recorded religious literature they could still make some kind of evaluation based on an examination of the creation, much as one can tell something of a painter from the works that he produces.

yes the title thread, someone help me. . . . . just conjures connotations of a marooned shipwrecked person and all that beach and monolith and pebbles stuff. Wonderfully evocative, spiritually speaking.

Then asking me for a "name" for God is a bit silly of you, surely?

Perhaps it was a little naughty of me FMF and I apologize if it has caused so some pain or distress, one must have good reason to abandon a faith after 28 years, never the less, I still hold and will defend the teaching of the Christ as being sublime and his personal example as being the ultimate example for all kinds of people in all kinds of situations. I need to go to work.
