I am more interested in why you think Dasa was "strong" on Hinduism. Isn't that like believing a KKK member calling for the lynching of black people is "strong" on Christianity.

Actually, you're just proving my point to caesar salad. Plenty other things have been expressed on the Forum besides "Disputes over Christian Doctrine."

You welcomed the "diversity" Dasa brought and found the vile things he said day in day out, week in week out, to be "strong" on Hinduism? Is he the only Hindu you have ever encountered? What were the 'weak' ones like?

@FMF

Did or did not Dasa and others write about other subject matter besides "Disputes over Christian Doctrines." ?

Dasa was the internet at its worst. It's your prerogative if you want to extol the virtues [for this forum] of the "subject matter" he was "strong" on. Tell caesar salad all about it.

That must be a Yes.

Its my perogative to ignore your twisting of my point around to represent something else then just the matter of diversity of subject matter.

Tell caesar salad all about it.

I told him what I needed to. And you pretty much confirmed it.

Feel free to promote the "diversity" that Dasa provided.

sonship, why did you think Dasa was "strong" on Hinduism?

What "weak" Hindus have you encountered that you are comparing him to? What was their Hinduism like?

@caesar-salad.
I believe that I asked for Moslem posters.
We had threads on meditation,
I believe we've had a thread or two on some aspect of Zen.
I recall a thread or more discussing Tao.
I believe someone wrote about Zoroastrianism recently.
Dasa was quite strong to write on Hinduism.
You forgot to mention 'living in a cave' [among his several screen names] who advocated a new Holocaust to wipe out all the Jews once and for all. He provided "diversity" here too.

Dasa had strong opinions. All of which I did not read.

If you want to debate him some more go find him.

No thanks. I am talking to you about what you have said about him. In the context of understanding Hinduism, what, in your view did Dasa's "strong opinions" offer?

Dasa had strong opinions.
For example?

Apology accepted. What you call Christian I want no part.
Okay, let's examine your particular flavour of Christianity and hold it up to the light.

Jesus said. 'Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.'

While you recently said. 'I recognize that I may be heading to hell and I do not care if you or any other person burns in hell. That is between you and God, not me.'

Why do you not 'care' when Jesus had told you specifically to 'love?'

@FMF

No thanks.

But this is kind of interesting though.

Why didn't you mention ~ to caesar salad ~ the "diversity" that living in a cave's hardcore anti-semitism brought to the community?

There is a thread of Buddhist wisdom which proceeds quite uninterrupted.
I personally allow other faiths to be discussed without always participating.
You 'allow' them?

How kind of you.
