-Removed-You have this complex book of 22 chapters.
I invite questions but few come.
So I put out some aids, helps, and suggestions.
But this is viewed by you as a lazy back peddle to not want to explain something.
“Go back”
“Go back”
Or, in other words, “o. Ant be bothered to explain.
No it was not a lazy re-consideration to not expound. It was making some general helpful suggestions in light of the unexpected disinterest in specific questions.
Having said that -
It could be argued, I suppose, that some specific questions WERE asked and could be continued to be discussed.
Best example I can recall at the moment is the question on Satan's release and recapture after the millennium. Unfortunately, I got the impression that the asker would not be satisfied until I made HIS point.
But His point is HIS own. I don't share it.

Do you personally identify no disparity between the Jesus of the Gospels and the 'wrath of the Lamb?'
The vision of chapter 4 of God the Creator warns that God is about to judge the world. But there is seen around His throne a rainbow.
The rainbow is a symbol going back to the flood of Noah in Genesis. It is a promise that God will not totally wipe out all life in His judgment. The rainbow around the throne says something like this:
Yes, God is righteous and must judge the earth.
But in His judgment and wrath He will remember His promise that mercy will cause Him not to totally destroy everyone and everything.
So there is wrath of the Lamb and of God. But there is also His faithfulness that He will remember that some lives will be spared.
The rainbow is seen again upon the head of the "strong Angel" in chapter 10. I would teach that this "strong Angel" in chapter 10 is also a sign of Jesus Christ. In His coming to possess the earth He will exercise some mercy as indicated by the rainbow around His head.
" And I saw another strong Angel coming down out of heaven, clothed with a cloud; and a RAINBOW was upon His head, and His face was like the sun, and His feet like pillars of fire; (v.1)
...
... And He placed His right foot on the sea and the left on the land; (v.2b)
And He cried out with a loud voice just as a lion roars. And when He cried out, the seven thunders uttered their own voices." (v.3)
See? The rainbow upon His head stands for His merciful sparing of some lives on earth.
The rainbow around the throne of God the Creator in chapter 4, speaks of the same matter previously.
" ... and upon the throne was One sitting; And He who was sitting was like a jasper stone and a sardius in appearance, and there was a RAINBOW around the throne like an emerald in appearance." (Rev. 4:2b-3)

In Revelation Jesus commends the Christians who hate what He hates.
"But this you have, that you hate the works of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate." (Rev. 2:6)
The point here is that as we are conformed to the image of Christ we will more and more love what Christ loves. We will also come to hate what Christ hates.
Don't think it would be right for Christians to love what Christ hates. That would not be normal.
-Removed-Most people either haven’t read Revelation or haven’t read it in a long time. It’s not exactly the go-to book of the Bible for inspiration or comfort.
It’s hard to ask questions about a book with which you have, at best, a fleeting familiarity. I don’t think the lack of questions says anything about sonship; it’s the subject matter.
-Removed-It should cross your mind that I don't take any of this that personally. Instead of bending attention around to me, my interest is to get into some good and profitable appreciation of Jesus Christ.
Lots of good things there in Revelation about the Lord Jesus, much more than many people realize. Some might be interested. You don't have to be. You don't have to depend on me for fellowship or help.
-Removed-I'll tell you what. A proposal.
How about we just WRITE here your favorite chapter of Revelation?
I'll write a verse.
You write a verse.
I write the next verse.
You write the next verse.
All the way through your favorite chapter.
Then if there is something you or I would like to talk about, we talk. And if not, not.
Now this morning I am thinking about chapter 10.
But I leave it to you to choose YOUR favorite chapter if you have one.
We could just take turns writing out chapter ONE.
How could this possibly hurt ?
Are you up for it?
How about Revelation chapter one?
I will call this share-writing. I'll start.
Anyone want to "share-write" with me?
The revelation of Jesus Christ which God gave to Him to show to His slaves the things that must quickly
quickly,
quickly,
quickly ... Amen
Excuse me. I lapsed into a little prayreading.
The revelation of Jesus Christ ...
The REVELATION .... the REVELATION .... the REVELATION of Jesus Christ. .. of Jesus .... of Jesus CHRIST.
Forgive me folks. I just so much love to pray over the word of God - to prayread and I guess to praywrite.
" ... God gave to Him to show to His slaves the things that must quickly take place,
AND ... He made it KNOWN ..."
Halellujah. He made it KNOWN ! .
Okay, I don't want to fight today. Let me calm down. I'm sorry.
Okay. Let's calm down just a little.
Here we go.
... He made it known by signs, sending it by His angel to His slave John." ( Rev. 1:1, RcV)
Someone write verse two. Divegeester? You ??
