It seems that atheists are perfect people. Yep .. they don't sin or do evil things, and they are in to blaming religion for whats ailing the world these days.

A Catholic priest molests a kid and there is a massive coverup. Clearly that's the fault of the Catholic church , its the fault of Christianity and its the fault of God.

When an atheists molests a kid [God forbid that such a thing is even possible], who gets the blame?

The atheist. And if an institution was protecting the atheist, it should bear some responsibility as well. There's no double standard here.

Atheists are guilty of being insufferably boring. Or so it would seem to someone who stumbled upon this forum recently.

    There is a double standard.

When the priest molests the kid, both the priest and the religion gets the blame.

When the atheist molests the kid only the atheists gets the blame.

    Clearly a double standard.

Serious question, why should an athiest give a flying **** about sinning!? "sin" is simply defined as whatever your imaginary friend named "God" doesn't like - any overlap between an everyday notion of evil and "sin" is entirely coincidental.

Furthermore, if an atheist molests a child then he/she has no allies (apart from other child molesters). No reasonable person will sweep such atrocities under the carpet. The same is not true with those who are aligned with certain religious groups.

So all atheists are reasonable. Keep on talking. You are digging a deeper hole in which to bury your nonsense arguments.

I don't blame Christianity. I blame the people who do the wrong and any people involved in covering it up.

That's because the atheists claim that atheism is not a religion just a state
    of mind.

    atheism is not a religion.
on the same note, theism is not a religion.

however, there can be religions based on atheism and religions based on theism.

It's not the religion that gets partial blame, but the institution that covered up the acts of the pervert priests. If, hypothetically, an atheist group was protecting a pedophile, thereby allowing him to continue molesting children, then it should receive blame as well. This seems fairly obvious.

You apparently did not listen to the women atheist explaining why she and
other atheists were so angry in the video googlefudge linked. Googlefudge,
a self-proclaimed atheist, said he believed everything she said. And she
blamed all religion as the cause of her anger. The atheists she was speaking
to also seemed to believe it, as indicated by their actions of approval.
