AMAZING.....

All living entities are governed by the modes of nature....Goodness Passion Ignorance.

Persons who are charitable, generous, vegetarian and who do not gamble or intoxicate or indulge in illicit sex are governed by goodness/passion.

The pig is governed by ignorance,

The tiger is governed by passion/ignorance.

The the tree is governed by ignorance.

The horse is governed by passion/ignorance.

An atheist is governed by ignorance/passion.

Person defending false religion are governed by ignorance/passion.

*The cow is governed by GOODNESS.

Every thing about the cow is good.

She gives us milk form eating grass, and from milk we can get cheese, cream, yoghurt, gee etc.

We give our babies milk for its nutritional merits and taste.

The urine of the cow can be used in Aryur Vedic medicine to cure many ailments.

The dung has anti-septic properties and can be used in healing and is used for constructing village dwellings by placing it on the walls and floors.....and when placing it on the floors it propels disease caused by bacteria etc.

Dung is used for fires.

When the cow passes from this world naturally - the leather is used to make many things.

The cow is respected by all civilized men.

Disrespect of the cow is the greatest sin.

* You would gain a great amount of good karma from worshipping the cow......and no good karma at all from worshipping a celebrity or sporting hero or rock star who engages in womanzing, intoxication, gambling, and meat eating.

Persons of knowledge give all respect to mother cow.

Persons who are ignorant, arrogant, foolish, barbaric, compassion-less, merciless and selfish.....have no care for the welfare the cow.

Are you sure about this? It's "the greatest sin"?

Sin: offending that which you worship.
Therefore, offending the cow (which you worship) is sin by definition.

Also...

Sin: An act that is regarded by theologians as a transgression of God's will.

I wonder if Dasa thinks there are transgression that are greater than "Disrespect of the cow". For instance, he has mentioned forced genital mutilation several times and gave the impression that he thought it was a transgression of God's will.

"Person defending false religion are governed by ignorance/passion."

Dasa fits neatly into the above category in my opinion.

I, on the otherhand, defend the TRUTH of the GOSPEL OF CHRIST.
HalleluYah !!! Praise the Lord!

Woohoo, another cow thread.

Did I mention I really love beef? It's delicious. I have a nice beef/bean burrito at home, smothered with cheese, green chile sauce [a pepper indigenous to my home state], and curly fries. Nuke, and cover with Tabasco sauce...mmmm. 😀

Interestingly enough, we have no shortage of milk, cheese, cream, yogurt, etc. here despite our love of beef.

I think we more fully emphasize that EVERYTHING about the cow is good, because we don't omit the beef. That's the BEST part. 😀

Cows farting is a significant contributor to anthropogenic global climate change.

Their methane emission's are far from good.

the only difference between a squirrel and an atheist is that atheists dont generally
have bushy tails, but they do have pointy ears like a squirrel, gather nuts and deny a
general purpose to life.
