When you find someone who promotes doing nothing, you can call them on it. To give your life to Christ is to surrender all; it is dying to oneself, living for Him as Lord and Savior. You misrepresent everything I have been telling you, and you ignore the scriptures that do not line up with your private gospel over what is in scripture.
And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. (Matthew 19:17 KJV)

Private Gospel? Its the Gospel of Christ. He said, if you want eternal life, keep the commandments

What you have in your church gospel is a bunch of mouthworshipping nonsense that Jesus never said to do.

1 edit

Its all about keeping the commandments.

If you want to be a friend of Christ ... Keep the commandments
If you want to be a disciple of Christ ... Keep the commandments
If you want to be a brother or sister of Christ ... Keep the commandments
If you want to be a sheep of Christ ... Keep the commandments
If you want to be a follower of Christ ... Keep the commandments
If you want Christ to know you... Keep the commandments
If you want to know Christ ... Keep the commandments
If you want Christ to make his abode with you ... Keep the commandments
If you want eternal life ... Keep the commandments

Everyone of these have a supporting reference and these all are part of th4e Gospel of Christ. Your church must be under the influence of Satan if they see it fit to remove this requirement to keep the commandments.

Even those who profess faith and who claim to be saved

If you profess belief in Christ, you still have to keep the commandments
If you are saved by Christ, you still have to keep the commandments
If you give your life to Christ, you still have to keep the commandments
If you go to church every Sunday, you still have to keep the commandments
If you call Lord, Lord all day, you still have to keep the commandments
If you say I love Jesus 100 times a day you still have to keep the commandments
If you are born again, you still have to keep the commandments
If you have the Spirit of Christ, you still have to keep the commandments
If you have the Holy Spirit, you still have to keep the commandments

Whatever you claim to have, you still have to keep the commandments...
Otherwise, there is no eternal life in the Kingdom of God

All of these are supported by clear references in the bible.

You should read the whole Bible as you continue to get some things right but still miss the essentials.

You are lame beyond belief. Apparently you are competing with sonship.

Jesus has the words of eternal life. Not Paul. Not anybody else.
Jesus Christ is eternal life, not Paul or anyone else
Jesus Christ preached the true Gospel, Not Paul and not anyone else.
Jesus Christ decides who gets eternal life, Not Paul or anyone else.
Jesus Christ laid down the requirements, not your church.

Nobody has to read the whole bible. That is all your church teachings.
You have read the whole bible and you still are floundering and lost.

You would like to have the authority to curse those who correct you, wouldn't you?

You refer to James much.

"But the tongue no one among men is able to tame, it is a restless evil, full of deadly poison. With it we bless the Lord and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made according to the likeness of God.

Out of the same mouth come forth blessing and cursing. These things, my brothers, ought not be so. Does the spring, out of the same opening, gush forth the sweet and the bitter?"

Your tongue is not at all tamed.
And you would like to be able to curse me, a believer in Jesus, to damnation on the spot.

And you have no conscience about this. James is your "faith without works is dead" writer too.

Who do you claim to be correcting ?
You are an arrogant idiot, fooling people with your doctrine of lies...
trying to convince people not to keep the commandments
Your professed belief is a sham .

'Get away from me .... Satan

God NEVER became subjectively real to you Rajk999?

The Psalmist wrote "Taste and see that the Lord is good".
When did you subjectively taste that the living God was good to you?

I've never told you or anyone to break them, but if you attempt to keep the law you will fail no one is going to be justified by the law.

Romans 3:20
For by works of the law no human being will be justified in his sight, since through the law comes knowledge of sin.

Galatians 2:
15 We ourselves are Jews by birth and not Gentile sinners; 16 yet we know that a person is not justified by works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, so we also have believed in Christ Jesus, in order to be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the law, because by works of the law no one will be justified.

17 But if, in our endeavor to be justified in Christ, we too were found to be sinners, is Christ then a servant of sin? Certainly not!

Matthew 5:20
For I tell you, unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

Our righteousness must exceed the scribes and Pharisees these were devoted to the law and they failed.

2 Corinthians 5:21
For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

Galatians 3:21
Is the law then contrary to the promises of God? Certainly not! For if a law had been given that could give life, then righteousness would indeed be by the law.

Our lives if they are truly given over to the Lord will have fruit fit for the Kingdom of God good works will happen as a result of the grace we are given. We will be walking out the faith, doing the things God has for us, the works he has for us to do, to love Him and each other.

James 2:22-24
English Standard Version
22 You see that faith was active along with his works, and faith was completed by his works; 23 and the Scripture was fulfilled that says, “Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him as righteousness”—and he was called a friend of God. 24 You see that a person is justified by works and not by faith alone.

1 John 2:29
If you know that he is righteous, you may be sure that everyone who practices righteousness has been born of him.

1 John 3:10
By this it is evident who are the children of God, and who are the children of the devil: whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is the one who does not love his brother.

Our works may be utterly burned up if they were not done properly.

1 Corinthians 3:14-16
English Standard Version
14 If the work that anyone has built on the foundation survives, he will receive a reward. 15 If anyone's work is burned up, he will suffer loss, though he himself will be saved, but only as through fire.

16 Do you not know that you are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in you?

You are absolutely correct. I left out a few statements:

If your life is truly given over the the Lord and you have fruit ..., you still have to keep the commandments
If you walking in faith, ..you still have to keep the commandments
If you are not under the Law and saved by Grace, ...you still have to keep the commandments
If you doing the things God has for you, the works he has for you to do, to love Him and each other., ...you still have to keep the commandments
If Jesus is righteous and you are born of Him, ..you still have to keep the commandments
If your faith is counted for righteousness, like Abraham .. , you still have to keep the commandments

I think that covers all your references. A few other just came to mind :

If you think you have eternal life already , you still have to keep the commandments
If you are redeemed ..., you still have to keep the commandments
If you are regenerated, you still have to keep the commandments
If you are sure you are going to heaven ... you still have to keep the commandments
If your name is in the book of life .. you still have to keep the commandments
Whatever you are , you still have to keep the commandments Everything you believe, every promise of God of eternal life is conditional on keeping the commandments. Jesus said He will removed names from the book of life is the person turns away from righteousness.

Jesus preached the keeping of the commandments from the beginning of his ministry, throughout his ministry and at the end of his ministry. Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. (Revelation 22:14 KJV)

KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS[/i][/b]
In the end, we need to know, did we know him here? That question is asked several times in the scriptures. His sheep know His voice; being born again with the Spirit of God is only done due to God acting, not us. If our righteousness isn't what God gives us, we are sitting in our own, and as sinners, our righteousness at our best is unacceptable to God; we need to be redeemed by the One who takes away our sins.

Our hearts are corrupt. We, without God, are walking in our flesh cannot please God; it is impossible under those conditions. We need to be in Him, abiding in Jesus Christ, and our actions do not obligate God towards us in any fashion with one exception, when we turn to Him for help, when we repent and make Him Lord and Savior, without Him we will die in our sins. If we are ashamed of Him, if we deny Him, we are not worthy of Him, even our affections towards others; if we put Him below anyone else, we are not worthy of Him.

Even children are known for their actions; if we are hateful and not loving, it shows; if we are not caring for one another, it shows. If our conversation isn't seasoned with grace, it shows. If we are condemning people for the very thing we are doing, it shows, and by doing that, we will have no excuse; our condemnation will be used on us.
