I don't remember him losing a battle, I could be mistaken though.

I suppose it would depend for what God is fighting. If it is to control human will, then no. However, if it is to fight for sway over human will, to offer them a choice to seek his will over their own, then yes.

When quoting something its helpful to put it into context. Let me help you with that.

The Israelites had been delivered from slavery in Egypt, and as Pharoah pursued them into the wilderness, God, on their behalf, intervened and destroyed the army. As a result Moses and Miriam wrote a song declaring their appreciation for God's mighty acts of deliverence. Sorta changes the tone knowing the context.

What, I ask you, does "UNCONDITIONAL LOVE" mean?

To state that it is God that is wrathful is to state the unknown "what is called" God, known more as his name satan, he that inhabitteth eternity, and who is "called", NOTE, ~called~ (not is) ~called~ Holy..

death SHALL BE swallowed up UNTO victory, ONCE again, which is UNIVERSAL SALVATION and is what Peter's RESPONSIBILITY to fulfill, as was prophesied 2,000 yrs ago that Christ declared to him of whatever he were to loosen shall BE loosed. And ending all ignorance on earth IS loosening all that is bound!

Perhaps it means the Lord is a man o'war - a jellyfish. This could be a confused reference to the Flying Spaghetti Monster!

The dragon is this flying spaghetti monster, though, many are referring to this silly named monster as a scoff to Christianity, though the dragon (S. M.) is the refuge of lies, the law on earth for judgement to they who fall down this spiral of living known as ignorance (the flesh that warreth the spirit~one's *true* being)..
He is referred in the Holy Bible (only KJ orig. version) as "One as the son of man in the clouds, with his angels, the reapers" ~ satan ~ dragon and the 3rd of his tail ~ Orion w/sword. & "He that inhabbitteth eternity, who is *called* Holy", though, VERY FAR FROM Holy, your flying spaghetti monster!
