That may be true but his fundamental problem is that he doesn’t really know what he believes .
Anyone that had been looking into this stuff for 30 years will already have attempted the prophecies concerning the end of days as it’s at the core of the Christian teaching.
I am happy not to pursue this with you two
Matt 7:6
@caesar-salad saidThe thing is God isn't limited, so regardless of the size of the universe it is still finite while God is eternal, there isn't anything here He doesn't know or isn't in total charge of. If your god is just part of the big cosmos, he isn't much by comparison.
It's a pretty big Cosmos, which is why I'm skeptical of the belief systems of Earth while still thinking that some kind of Cosmic Intelligence is more likely than not.
@kellyjay saidI hope that "God" (to use the conventional and surprisingly unmusical name) is more of an Emanator than Micro-Manipulator.

As for the doctrines of Earth, why shouldn't one consider them to be merely parochial, stunted, and to some extent twisted attempts at understanding the One behind the scenes?
@caesar-salad saidI think so far you descriptions of God have been less than accurate to tell you the truth. I'm not sure what you mean by doctrines of the earth, is that what you call religious text of all faiths?

@caesar-salad saidSince the God of the Bible transcends all time, space, matter, and energy; coupled with the fact He is sovereign, do you think His goals would also be beyond this place?

@kellyjay saidNobody needs to show any scripture. Like I said previously, these two liars were part of the early church who were all, on the day of Pentecost given the Holy Spirit. They turned out to be crooked. Peter said that they were filled with Satan.
Show the scripture that says that they were filled with both the Spirit of God and Satan. There is a difference between the Holy and unholy, that you seem to know little about.
Clearly your church interpretation of what the Holy Spirit is and does is false, because a man can be filled with the Holy Spirit or have Gods Spirit or Christ's Spirit and he can still be evil.
@rajk999 saidYou can just say no need to show scripture because you said? You see a passage of scripture that said they were part of the people filled with the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost and given the Holy Spirit, if not then what passage of scripture do you use to actually back up what you said. Talk is cheap, how about a little scriptural back up for the claims you make, the devil quotes things in the Bible, but he doesn't quote them properly either.

Filled with Satan, no. Actually it was simply that he filled their hearts to lie to the Holy Spirit, they didn't become temples of Satan as we are with the Holy Spirit when we are right with God. You and I have agreed that people can sin once saved, being tempted to do so doesn't mean you are now filled with Satan! The one thing we are to do is guard our hearts, not yield to our fleshly earthy heart which is deceitful.
Jeremiah 17:9
The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it?
Acts 5:3
But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and to keep back for yourself part of the proceeds of the land?
Luke 8:12
The ones along the path are those who have heard; then the devil comes and takes away the word from their hearts, so that they may not believe and be saved.
@kellyjay saidI will leave you in your ignorance.
