god is the power of humanities collective intelligence sent back from the far future to the beginning of time to try and re-create the universe in an attempt to stop us making the same mistakes, sadly early humans propensity for creating god concepts is a flaw that cannot be ironed out and always leads to humanity reaching the same endpoint and making the same mistake of thinking the only way to fix things is to create a god and sending it back to correct things

    Cool, but I think...

Premise 2 is needed: There is a reason (or there are reasons) for creating the universe.

It is possible to pack this premise into the colloquial term "God" as to imply that God's creating a universe would have a reason, because that's how God operates when universe-creating, but at least, the premise of there being a reason, stated in premise 2 or implied in premise 1, needs to be agreed upon.

We could go further -- did "creating the universe" happen, or is the existence of a universe also packed into the term "God" as it is for a pantheistic God. Then the reason (if any) for the existence if the universe would be identical to the reason (if any) for the existence of God.

Which may be the case. The reason is, both exist so that I might exist. 😏

it had no choice, as in it was a natural process of its existence.

it could be that the universe itself created god. at the very basic level, we have trillions of stars with information being exchanged between them via light waves and particles.

the universe is one giant brain with trillions of nodes. it's conceivable that it would become self-conscious.

Well we are really screwing the place up. When is your god going to come down and save us before it's too late and we kill 90% of life on Earth?

We can make one prediction however: If we don't fix the planet, the planet will fix us for good.

I talked with U.S. Congressman John Barrows today at a community meeting and He said it was a real mess in the Congress now. They can't get an agreement on anything and nothing can get done that way. I think any attempt at saving the planet is going to be met with many disagreements on how to do it and nothing important will get done. So our only hope is to try to limit our destruction enough to allow as many people as possible time to come to the Lord before He has to cleanse it with fire.

There you go again, thinking your god is going to come down and wave its metaphorical finger and bippity boppity bo, everything is wonderful again. Ain't gonna happen.
