It seems things are split here on the forum. Those that base their views on rational mathmatical thinking, and those that have a more romantic idea pertaining to reality. I hope the romantic thinkers are on the right track. The other is to drab. It reminds me of the Republicans, and the Democrates. One uses his head the other his heart. People seem to be divided that way.

Yes.. yes they do at times, buckky.

So you just write these op's and then watch everyone flailing about for a few pages?

How come you never reply?

You're right, which is a bit bizarre really - how can one come to spirituality through rationality?
As for your republican/democrat, heart/head dichotomy, I'm interested - which is which?

I would reply if I had something fresh to say. I seem to have said all I can say on the subject. I'm waiting for new inspiration. I just have these thoughts from time to time that I toss out for others to set me straight.

Usually the Republicans are considered the thinkers, and the Democrates are the emotional feelers.

I think the approach to God involves not one part of your being but every part. The mind is involved. So is the conscience. The emotions are involved. So is the will.

To love God with our whole heart and strength and mind, as was charged in the OT, involves man's being in a holistic way.

Heh, well there goes my theory. You replied!! 🙂

Feelers lead the way, thinkers colour in the spaces.

There is always going to be this dynamic.. and others. The male /female aspect of the universe is always necessary. Too much either way and you have unbalance.
The One becomes two/many then returns to the One again so that it may create the universe.
