@suzianne saidI agree to do the right thing for the right reasons out of compassion and love is what we should be doing as unto the Lord. Political parties play no part in this. We can belong to either or any party and do it right or wrong.
No, of course not.
It's just a signpost on the road. You can either go the way of helping all people in need, or the way of self-serving greed, helping no one but yourself. One was the way of Jesus, the other was not.
"No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot s ...[text shortened]... have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows." - 1 Timothy 6:3-10 KJV

@kellyjay saidFor the record, someone who claims to follow Christ can support a democrat party that not only endorses abortion on demand, but wants taxpayers to pay for it?

To me, this is like a Christian German voting for Nazis cuz they had swell socialist policies.
@whodey saidMy point no one has to subscribe to ever single party platform, there are pro-life Democrats and Republicans have pro-choice members.

-Removed-What is pathetic is the Catholic church. Here we have a institution whose official position on abortion is that it is murder, but their Left wing Pope gives sermons on the evils of building walls instead.
But this should be of no surprise, millions of supposed Christians also voted for Hitler in mass, and as expected, the Catholic church refused to come out against them publically then as well, all for political expediency and survival so they can enjoy their little "treasures" in the Vatican.
It's time to pick up a whip and drive them all out of the DNC!
-Removed-Even in your Left twisted brain you should acknowledge that the most pathetic individuals were those who did not stand up to Hitler and those in the Catholic church who did not publically come out against him.
Sure, the Vatican would have been leveled and the Pope probably murdered, but think of the lives that could have been saved.
@whodey saidHere is the thing for me, I don't care what party someone is in, and I don't care what denomination someone attends. You can be in a church full of on fire Spirit-filled believers and not know the Lord and go to Hell, or you can be the lone believer in a dead church and go to Heaven, why, because you know the Lord. It is always going to be between us and Jesus, not our party affiliation or denomination.
Very well.
That glass just keeps getting clearer every day.

Here is a marvelous, yet longer message on the Creation of Man from Genesis 1 and 2 by Witness Lee.
At about 46.53 he says - Do you live a life that is according to the Spirit or not? I say, I haven't found one, including myself. I don't know how many times, confession after confession. In the morning I confess to the Lord, Lord I just made a confession ..."
I think the long message is filled with profound insight and practical help (especially in married life) and humility.
Needless to say Lee's analysis of God making man in the image and likeness of God is very insightful and pin points why humanity is so different from the other animals.

@kellyjay saidFair enough, but those in the democrat party who oppose abortion are few and far between.

It has almost become part of their party platform.
