To be fair, I believe a great many Republicans say they are against abortion but not really, but all we can do is vote for what is the truth or what is their lies.

Don't insult my intelligence trying to gaslight us into thinking that Republicans give one damn for "life". They take food out of the mouths of poor people, women and kids, and even take children away from parents because they don't toe the Republican line. Republicans hate social programs of ANY kind because they are meant to improve lives, especially the lives of poor people. And those programs don't allow for monstrous giveaways to the rich. So spare me your "pro-life" lies. You don't care one iota for kids after they are born.

You are painting a lot of people here with a broad brush and being vile about it. Secular government charities do not take the place of personal charities, what people should be doing on their own. I'm not going to get credit for all the good the government does by paying my taxes. I don't want that credit least I also get stuck with all the bad. What we do matters, where we are matters, and the more the government takes, the less everyone has to do what they need to do. It is necessary to have a government, but it is not my life, and never will be.

I also do not hate government social programs so what you said isn't true, unless they keep people chained to the government for life. People are better off being self sufficient, than dependent.

It's Ok, Suzy just thinks that the babies she and the rest of her democrat brown shirts don't murder in the womb should have government hand outs for the rest of their lives, unless they are white male conservatives, but I think that is only common sense.

I don't think you can justify abortion accept to save a life. You can make assertions about women's rights being sovereign, but there is only one Sovereign, and we put a capital "S" in that word when we refer to Him. He is the one who is forming our children in the wombs of the children's mothers, to think we can make a choice about another's life, well it pretty much fits many of the discussions that have been taking place here lately. We pick who we think is worthy of our affections and love; we don't acknowledge the worth of others because they are just people; instead, its all about us.

The two of us have disagreed in the past, and for the most part, if not always, she has treated me with civility, I have no complaints. I value her opinion on topics!

Abortion is incredibly evil, in my opinion, and manner they are performed are too. Still, it is always hearts and minds that we can need to touch regardless of laws, if they favor it or not, if we don't care about the those yet born they are in trouble, even if they make it out alive, they are the least among us who require the most.
