They talk about the issues with the origin of life due to thermodynamics and chemistry. I found the whole discussion fascinating. I've never attempted to cut out portions of one of these into smaller pieces, but maybe I can tell you a time frame to look at so you don't have to watch the whole thing if you desire it? It is a complex topic, they hit a variety of things. One of the things they talk about that I had not thought about is how the issue is much more than an informational issue with instructions, but how difficult it is to turn energy into something useful.

And that is why, since the beginning, entropy rules the day.

The trick is, can what be created be created so that a functionally complex system can arise without a guiding force directing it by design, or can the same type of thing arises through mindless processes? Taking energy and turning it into a power source for work is done all of the time; we know it occurs by design when we do it. Can it occur without mind making it happen?

@Suzianne

Christ's resurrection is a hint divine life can overcome all decay.

You know that the manifestation of the sons of God causes the corruption of the world to be reversed somehow, rescued, saved. Yes even the environment.

Detail are not exhaustive. But we have hints including this:

"For the anxious watching of the creation eagerly awaits the revelation of the sons of God.

For the creation was made subject to vanity, not of its own will, but because of Him who subjected it.

in hope that the creation itself will also be freed from the slavery of corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God. " (Rom. 8:19-21)

The glory of the sons of God - the children of God brought into full mature sonship is also the freeing of the creation from vanity and corruption.

Yes evidently it can.
