I think we can all agree that voyeurism is not an activity that has society's stamp of approval. Yet, apparently god is guilty of this turpitude all the time because, according to fundamentalists, god watches everything we do. How come it's bad for us but OK for god? It's not a fatherly example of good behavior.

First of all, the concept of an omnipresent God is hardly 'fundamentalist'.
Secondly nearly all social do's and don'ts would not necessarily be applied to a god - or even a guardian angel, fairy godmother, Santa etc. Remember that Santa knows when you've been bad, does the fact that he was watching mean that he cant have any presents either?

If he's really omniscient, he can't help but know everything that we'll do.

What does it matter what God can or can't see; if God doesn't exist our sordid little activities don't matter anyway. And since when did anyone really care what this society thinks about anything; its credibility is hardly a moral benchmark by which we should measure ourselves as individuals is it.
