I find the idea of excluding Marmite deeply sacrilegious.
I'm quite comfortable with the idea that Marmite doesn't actually exist and that those who profess to love it are simply having me on. 😏

And secondson says, "ghost-of-a-duke speaks as though science has proven that that theory was a fact".

And then secondson says, "the Bible says God created man in one day."

Then ghost-of-a-duke says, "the Bible was written by man".

Then secondson says, "but we know for a fact the theory of evolution was written by man".
🙂
Or we can cut through all that and recognize the coccyx is the remnant of the tail we once had, immediately validating that we evolved as a species.

I'm assuming that Christians who have incorporated evolution into 'God's work' believe we have evolved into God's image. (Hence losing the tail).

How is assuming something answering for someone else?

I don't see how interjecting church doctrine into a discussion of evolution helps with clarity.

And no, I didn't get what you now say was your reason for typing "Who says it's a tail?"

Of course. Why wouldn't I?

Congratulations. You do know that 'clear thought' isn't really de rigueur here, right? I mean, I don't want you to get in trouble with the powers that be.

BTW, I last posted here earlier today. What were you (DG) on about in another thread claiming that I 'abandoned' this thread?

It is possible of course that we haven't stopped evolving yet and currently look nothing like God. (Assuming He exists).

How is having a coccyx evidence that we once had a tail? Because someone said so? Clearly you can see that that hardly justifies the use of such strong terms as "immediately validating that we evolved as a species".

Appears to me to be only speculative theorizing, and not hard evidence.

Have a quick feel of your coccyx and tell me what you think it might be for.

I'll give you a minute. 🙂

It feels like a plug to keep my backbone from falling out.
