I have thought about this remark about William of Orange. I have an Irish flag on my profile and have referred to my Catholic background.
In Irish politics, which is a very strange beast, King Billie has a powerful resonance. People making your remark have literally and brutally had a bullet through the head for their pains. You may need to refer to W ...[text shortened]... up William of Orange the English rejected sectarian violence and voted - acted - for tolerance.

Is that supposed to be a trick question?
You only think thought originates in the brain because that's what you've been told. And who told you that? We know who told you that.
You are a spiritual being residing in a body. If you want to be just a body, then you are really just one dimensional. Your mind is closed to other possibilities because you can ...[text shortened]... that you are more than just what you see in the mirror.
The same goes for the rest of you.
Agnosticism is like the Shroud Of Turin....so far, they can't prove that the Shroud is genuine but they cannot prove that it is a forgery either. The carbon 14 tests that were done said it's from the 1300's. Believers said the tests were done on the hem of the Shroud which were added in the middle ages. The vatican will not alow pieces to be cut from the middle of the Shroud for conclusive testing. So...we'll just have to wait and see. Agnostics and Theists also have to wait and see. If an Agnostic dies and finds himself in hell, well...he will know he was wrong and if a Theist dies and is enveloped in nothingness, he won't even know he was wrong.
