Not if she is regularly appeased with shoes and handbags.

Is God 'Mercy, Pity, Peace and Love' as Blake wrote? Or do you have perhaps a different conception of God – do you picture a person you love or have loved and lost, or is your God even a violent God, or flawed in other ways?
"What is God to you?"

The question, imo, should be, "Who is God to you?"

My answer; Who God says He is.

Hey, thought us non-believers (aka - Men of wisdom) were not allowed to post in this thread? 😲
Then who would us delusional types have to debate with? 😉

If we don't, then no one will. If the atheists are right!

But we really won't be laughing.

God is a wonderful Husband whom His people will marry as a Bride forever.

Hear this young man speak about it !

Title "Will You Go With This Man?"

God is my saviour. He is my protector in my daily activities. He leads me. He is there for me during my trials and tribulations. 2015 was the year I came face to face with the worst problems the world could offer and HE WAS WITH M!

The reality of God is often experienced through a sense of spiritual companionship during times of trouble.

God should be experienced in and out of trouble. When He comes into a man's human spirit to be "one spirit" with him, it is His desire that we walk in Him.

Coming to Him in time of tribulation is understandable. And He is faithful.
But we need to live in Him whether we are abased or abound in our circumstances.

If God can gain a critical mass of human beings living in Him in this way, we will bring the Lord Jesus back physically to this earth.

Is this 'critical mass' constituted only from Christians, or are devout Muslims or Jews (etc) also part of the tally?

Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him. (Act 10:34-35)

Gods people are all those that fear him and work righteousness.

And a righteous atheist of a fearful disposition?

God in his righteousness will judge all people . those under the law of Moses, those under the Law of Christ and even those with no law. All mankind has a conscience that acts as their guide to right and wrong.

An atheist that declares a belief in no God and who lives by the law of love written in their hearts is going to find more favour with God than a professed Christian who does not live by the law of Christ.

And you asked me this question a few months ago 🙂
