We fight on methods of baptism, the 6 day creation, the rapture/tribulation. This is where people choose to separate themselves to call themselves Baptists or Lutherans or whatever else is out there.

The point we agree on is that "The father sent the Son to be the Savior of the world." and "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt have faith." and ...[text shortened]... do, but until then, there will be different people interpreting the Word different ways.
Small disagreements?
Tell that to the people of Northern Ireland.

You say you wish God would come down and tell you what to do. But you also say :
" The father sent the Son to be the Savior of the world." and "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt have faith." and "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No man comes to the father except through me."

He sent the Son to tell you what to do. Youre obviosuly not understanding what the Son said to do.

Omnislash and I agreed in a previous thread that the Lutheran Churuch Missouri Synod's doctrine is closest to The Bible,if that is what you consider "the truth".

By the way does anyone know where Omni has been lately??

Will any denomination say otherwise ?
Do you mind giving some examples of what you consider closest to the Bible ?

Closest to the Bible is a pretty subjective viewpoint. Closest to the Bible in what respect - literal truth? jewish interpretation? orthodox interpretation? what?

All faiths claim to have the truth.I simply stated that I feel the Lutherans have the closest faith to a literal translation of the bible (KJ)

So what?
Does that make the interpretations of other religions and denominations incorrect and irrelevant?

You can go to any Church you want but if you do not have a personal relationship with Christ it mean nothing. Acts 4:12
What a shock that the citation that you have chosen says nothing to support your
absurd claim of 'personal relationships with Jesus' (a concept utterly foreign to
Christianity until touchie-feelie Christians invented the concept as a way to validate
their inability to handle liturgy).

4:12 reads -- There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under
heaven given among mortals by which we must be saved. (NRSV)

Your cultish practices are getting more and more bizarre. Your brain will eventually
atrophy from lack of use, you know.
