Jesus is not God the father.

God the father raised Jesus, the son, from the dead.

They are not the same, nor are they equal.

Are you sure God did, and Jesus had nothing to do with it? Who in scripture takes credit?

Will you admit right now that you believe Jesus is God, in some way?

If yes, your OP is void.

I think I know at least one scripture you will be talking about but I'll let you carry on as it's your thread.

Please stay on topic my motivation at the moment is wanting to find out your reasoning behind your opinion. Do you have one or did you say that without cause?

The Bible says it both ways. Jesus raised himself from the dead is one reference and another says God raised him from the dead.

You seem to want to interpret that to mean that Jesus = God.

However you will find nowhere where Jesus plainly says that he is God or that he is equal to God.

Furthermore there is nothing like fully man / fully God in the Bible.

Jesus did not plainly say many things, that doesn't mean His meaning wasn't relating important truth. Do you think Jesus lied about raising Himself?

Dive, you claim to NOT believe in the Trinity, yet you think that Jesus is God, in some way.

Suzianne has challenged you on this, and I agree.

Your view is no different from the Trinity.

You believe that Jesus is God, in some fashion.

Remove the word "fully" you will find many references to either. You twisting the meaning of both words is causing you to miss the truth by suggesting Jesus was neither man and God, but some other worldly version of either which is not in scripture.

I dont need to remove any word fully. It is YOU and others here that claims that Jesus is FULLY MAN and FULLY GOD. .. not me.

Jesus was born of a woman and fathered by the Holy Spirit. Therefore he cannot be FULLY MAN. He is a man. He is divine also but not FULLY GOD.

This is the reason wby the Bible never says Fully anything.

I dont know. The Bible says it both ways as I already said. neither do I need to know whether Jesus raised himself. If the Bible is not clear on something then I accept that as being inconclusive. If you choose to say it one way or the other thats your choice.

I believe Jesus was the Word of God (God) made flesh (man) when He was here.
The word fully when used is to make sure everyone does not do what you do, which is
twist the scripture to make Jesus out to be something more than a man, and less than God.
