'Lucky accidents' are your words. if you care about my beliefs why are you inventing them?
If you don't be more pro-active to explain your beliefs but assume it is obviously true, others try to understand what you mean. When they do, your saying they are inventing things is not entirely their fault.
It sounds like with just a kind of wink and a smile that's all you need to remind everybody that it is foregone orthodoxy. And this obvious orthodoxy is ridiculous to question.
While I go out on a limb and put lots of words on what I see in the revelation of the Bible you can take your time to develop your explanations and write them here.
Now I will go on on my limb. There are three components of man mentioned in God's creation of humans.
1.) dust of the ground
2.) spirit or breath out from the Creator
3.) living soul man became.
"Jehovah God formed man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and man became a living soul." (Gen. 2:7)
Man's body was from "the dust of the ground".
God breathed into that something out of His own being - "the breath of life". I believe this became man's innermost spirit. And as a result of these two things coming together - "man became a living soul".
Now First Thessalonians describes human beings too in three major components - "spirit and soul and body".
"And the God of peace Himself sanctify you wholly, and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ." (1 Thess. 5:23)
God formed the body from the dust imparted into this something out of His own being called "the breath of life" and when the two came together - "man became a living soul".
One part mainly communicates with the material world.
One part communicates with other lives with minds, wills, and emotions.
One part communicates with God.
In three directions these three components function to define the entire human make up. This is communicated to us divinely in the bible in economically few profound words.
The story of creation in Genesis was clearly intended as an analogy. It is a story destroyed a thousand times over by modern understanding and scientific discoveries. It is impossible to take anyone seriously who views it as a literal account and creates a thread entitled 'Why Adam's Rib Became Eve.'
There are 31 verses is Genesis chapter one. And there are 25 in chapter two.
What known firmly agreed upon science fact absolutely and conclusively proves which of these 56 verses cannot be true?
I agree that there is much allegory in Genesis.
I think this shows God's forethought and foreknowledge. We are dealing with One who inhabits eternity. What He knows cannot be imagined. Probably all time is before Him.
So there is allegory in the building of the ark of Noah.
There is allegory in the building of the tabernacle.
There is allegory in the construction of the ark of the covenant within it.
There is allegory in the building of the temple.
And there is allegory according to God's forethought and eternal purpose in the
formation of the wife of the first man.
God raised Adam's anticipation by bringing before him all the animals. The man was probably left very lonely. Then God out him to deep sleep. And from his own body God extracted someone to MATCH him to be his counterpart.
Paul said in essence that this mystery of Eve being of Adam's body was a great mystery. But he spoke of it as pointing to Christ and the church.
Out of one God made two.
Then He brought the two together to be one.
Its an glimpse into the heart of God. Out from Himself He brings forth a corporate collective entity to match and correspond to Himself.
He had this in mind before the foundation of the world. In fact He created the creation as a stage upon which this drama would be played out. All creation was created with this plan in view.
@sonship saidHere are the 8 ingredients for life. Not quite as mysterious as a Goddidit approach.
@Ghost-of-a-DukeAnd if I knew the precise recipe for life, I'd create it.
" I don't know." [paraphrased] I take as a legitimate answer when these things about mankind are involved.
So, we evolved as a species but the precise recipe for life getting started you do not know. It is a mystery. It is mysterious.
While I consider that, let me ask: ...[text shortened]... ite alright.
Shall we just leave this at "we evolved as a species" worked in mysterious ways?

I’m not sure what you’re on about here, but my question to you relates to your claims in the OP.
The end of the Bible shows a marriage. It shows Christ as God-man and His Wife a collective entity called New Jerusalem.
The formation of New Jerusalem as a climax of history mirrors the formation of the wife of Adam.
Revelation 21 and 22 are significant because they show where history is going.
Genesis chapter 2 is hugely significant because it foreshadows in an allegorical way where history is going.
The conclusion of the bible is significant because it shows where it is everything God is doing leads. Genesis 2 is hugely significant because before its accomplishment we are given a clue in the formation of the first marriage.
Along the way the Paul also shows the great significance of Eve being a part of Adam's body. He calls the formation of Eve from Adam "great" as in "a great mystery". I use the phrase "hugely significant". I could also say along with Paul it is a great mystery.
" . . . we are members of His Body. For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall be one flesh.
This mystery is great [or if you will "hugely significant"] but I speak of Christ and the church." (Eph. 5:30-32)
Here are the 8 ingredients for life. Not quite as mysterious as a Goddidit approach.
So the recipe you have now found?
So you said that if you knew that recipe then you would create life.
Does this mean now that you will combine the 8 ingredients and show the world how life is created?
Or was it still the phrase you seem to run away from - "lucky accidents" ?
@sonship saidI gave you the ingredients. Not the measurement or cooking instructions.

Did you look at them?
So Paul uses the phrase "great mystery" and I use my own expression "hugely significant".
Now let's look at more of Paul's thoughts in this chapter on marriage of Christ and the church.
"Husbands love your wives even as Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her. That He might sanctify her, cleansing her by the washing of the water in the word, that He might present the church to Himself glorious, not having spot or wrinkle of any such thing, but that she would be holy and without blemish.
In the same way the husbands also ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his own wife loves himself. For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, even as Christ also the church.
Because we are members of His Body. For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother and shall be joined to his wife, and the two shall be one flesh (compare Gen. 2:24)
This mystery is great, [very significant . . . hugely so imo] but I speak with regard to Christ and the church." (Eph. 5:25-32)
@sonship saidOf course, when it came to women, Paul also wrote:
So Paul uses the phrase "great mystery" and I use my own expression "hugely significant".

"Women should remain silent in the churches, They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission, as the law says. If they want to inquire about something, they should ask their own husbands at home; for it is disgraceful for a woman to speak in the church."
