I would say that isn't an experiment, it is a revealing of truth.
To stress the point, once Satan rebelled and a third of the angels went with
him, who was to say they were not right? God could have just created/made
robots, or blasted them as soon as they rebelled. So if you didn't rebel you
are going to or could wonder why they were treated for something God
didn't want you to see? What is going on now is that we see what happens
when someone puts their own wants and needs before everyone else, we
see when lusts become so important that others lives are meaningless, or
the damage done to them become meaningless against the lust someone
wants to fulfill. Evil is on full display, and what happens when follows that
over those that love one another.

We will see on judgment day what happens when everything is done right
and when it isn't, we will see people deny the truth they are aware of and
those that repent when confronted with it, no matter the costs.

You misunderstood the post. I mentioned there was no agenda, no creationist- bashing, no having "fun" with sandal wearing theists (whoever they are). Just an innocent question which I am happy to see everyone, apart from you who clearly feel under attack for some reason, has taken at face value.

I take your point, and I appreciate your comments. I am still mystified because all the events you mention happened after Creation. Why create in the first place? Your point about good and evi, however, is interesting.

Its the difference between robots which cannot live in a creation where the
motivation should be love, robots only do what they are told, because they
