I understand that Robbie.
Habermos'a method of apologetics is very objective. When he argues he does not put forth the assumption the the Scriptures are inspired by God or even completely accurate.
He is what is called an "Evidentialist" Christian apologist. There are different schools of Christian apologetics.
In Gary Habermos's method he wants to approach a defense of the historical reliability of the resurrection apart from assuming the Scriptures are inspired by God.
It is just an approach one may or may not agree with. But one thing is for sure. He has done a tremendous amount of hard work which others borrow from and take for granted. This hard work is a survey of what all manner of New Testament scholars (liberal or conservative, Christian or non-Christian) area's of agreement about the historical record of Jesus.
Check out his being interviewed by The Infidel Guy radio program.
