@dj2becker saidLiberals?
Is the X a deliberate ploy used by liberals to remove Christ from Christmas?
@badradger saidIt's good for the economy. Unfortunately it commercializes Christmas. That's why we hear it said "keep Christ in Christmas".
Christmas is a cash cow and I refuse to partisipate.
Christ is in the heart. Christmas is an event marking the birth of the saviour. It's not exactly Jesus' birthday. It's not a birthday party. It's just a holiday. A day off from work. A time for family and friends to celebrate the joys of living.
Merry Christmas
@suzianne saidFor those having exceedingly simplistic views, what other possible explanation could there be?
Liberals?
By and large, fundamentalist Christians operate on the level of a ten-year-old. It's why so many fundamentalist Christians support Trump - people like people like themselves.

@dj2becker saidYou're such a clever boy. Yes you are.
There is no Christ in Christmas
Those that are able to read will notice that Christ has been replaced with an X.
@dj2becker saidNo.
Is the X a deliberate ploy used by liberals to remove Christ from Christmas?
Instead of creating silly threads why not invest that time in learning about the etymology of words.

@dj2becker saidMany things are what we make them, it is a day, it can be about Christ, family and friends, or so many other things. I wish everyone a merry Christmas and hope your day is filled with love, life, family, friends, and may the mercy love and grace of God find you, filling your hearts to over flowing.

@ghost-of-a-duke saidYou mean like where did the word God come from?
No.
