We are saved by faith through grace, not by works; our fruit comes as a result of
the Holy Spirit in our lives; without Him, we are just in the flesh even if we make
the confession without God in our lives would be meaningless.

Ephesians 2
For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.

2 Corinthians 13:5
Examine yourselves, to see whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Or do you not realize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you fail to meet the test!

Galatians 5:22-23
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.

Romans 8:8
Those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

Their fruit comes from their belief in God, and the Son, and the Resurrection.

The source of the fruit matters, if you don’t have God in you, the only fruit you can have in your life is generated by your flesh. How do you know them, was the question, scripture provided the question and the answers.

You brought up fruit from scripture, it is not my fault you don’t like the topic you choose.

Men can’t see what the heart of another man is and what his genuine beliefs are. God can.

That is why Jesus said by their fruits ye shall know them. Because men can’t see what God sees.

We’re talking about, unless I’m mistaken about the OP, why Jesus Christ said by their fruits ye shall know them and not by their beliefs ye shall know them.

Men can’t know what someone genuinely believes. But Christ goes on to say that a good tree produces good fruit (and a corrupt tree corrupt fruit.) It is from the heart that good fruit is borne. But men (unlike God) can’t know what another man’s heart is. That’s why Jesus said they could tell the heart of a man by the fruit he produces.

Belief is not irrelevant in the equation. It’s the foundation!

Yes, and unless the fruit is of the type it was written about due to the source it isn't
valid with respect to the Kingdom of God.
