The Gospel of John is the lastest of the four biographies of Jesus. It is written with such spiritual manner and meaning. He approaches Jesus as a man rather than a super natural figure. John uses his central focus on the divine word or logos.

When I was a child I used to call them Legos however I have now been informed that the plural is Lego just like Fish.

I value Mark because I think the author was closer to events than the others.

Matthew as far as I know seems to be the least popular--any idea why, Nietzsche1877?

I understand his gospel has the most authentic and fundamental doctrine of the Christian religion. I cannot answer why he will be the least popular;even we know Matthew describes Jesus public perofrmances and sayings.

Mark is my least favourite Evangelist - probably because it sometimes feels like he is composing a telegram rather than a Gospel.

Between Mt, Lk and Jn, I'd probably have to go for Luke - he's got the best Christmas stories! 🙂

Paul. He wrote 14 books of the NT and was the one to receive the "mystery". He was a remarkable man of God.
